Correction and Retraction Policy
Akhasia: Jurnal Akuntansi Syariah • STEI Permata Bojonegoro • Aligned with COPE Guidelines
Akhasia: Jurnal Akuntansi Syariah, published by STEI Permata Bojonegoro in official collaboration with CV Jeoja Word Indonesia, is committed to preserving the permanent integrity and accuracy of the scholarly record. When verifiable honest errors, omissions, or ethical breaches occur in published articles, the journal strictly applies the guidelines and flowcharts established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to determine appropriate corrective action.
Categories of Post-Publication Amendments
1. Corrigendum (Author Correction)
Issued when a significant, honest error made by the author(s) is identified (e.g., non-fatal numerical errors, mislabeled statistical columns, omitted funding acknowledgments, or author affiliation typos) that does not alter the fundamental empirical conclusions of the paper.
2. Erratum (Publisher Error)
Issued to rectify substantial production, typesetting, or layout mistakes introduced by the journal team during file processing (e.g., corrupted equations, misaligned financial data tables, or omitted text blocks).
3. Retraction (Post-Publication Article Withdrawal)
In strict accordance with COPE Retraction Guidelines, a published article will be formally retracted if the findings are proven fundamentally flawed, unreliable, or unethical. Valid grounds for retraction include:
- Clear evidence of empirical data fabrication, manipulation of financial regression models, or fictitious research findings.
- Severe plagiarism, redundant/duplicate publication, or copyright infringement.
- Severe ethical misconduct (e.g., unauthorized disclosure of confidential corporate banking records or fake respondents).
Exceptional Article Removal
Complete removal of content from the journal database is an extraordinary measure reserved solely for cases where a direct court order mandates removal, the content is severely defamatory, or it infringes trade secrets and legal confidentiality. In such circumstances, metadata (title and authors) will remain visible, accompanied by a formal statement stating the item has been removed for legal reasons.
How to Report Errors or Request Inquiries
