Article Processing Charges (APCs)
Author Fees & Publication Policy
Akhasia: Jurnal Akuntansi Syariah • In accordance with COPE Principles of Transparency
Akhasia: Jurnal Akuntansi Syariah is committed to sustainable open-access publishing. The Article Processing Charge (APC) supports continuous editorial operations, double-blind peer review coordination, professional copyediting, PDF galley layout, Crossref DOI registration, long-term digital preservation, and global open dissemination without barrier.
1. Article Submission Fee: IDR 0.00 (Free)
There are zero submission fees. Authors do not pay any fee upon initial manuscript submission, and rejected manuscripts incur no charges whatsoever.
2. Article Processing Charge (APC)
If a manuscript is officially accepted for publication following rigorous peer review and editorial assessment, the author is requested to cover the publication charge:
*Official institutional invoices and electronic payment instructions will be delivered directly alongside the formal Letter of Acceptance (LoA).
3. Fee Waiver Policy
Akhasia: Jurnal Akuntansi Syariah firmly believes that genuine financial limitations should never prevent the publication of rigorous scholarship. Partial or complete fee waivers are available for:
- Authors residing in low- or lower-middle-income countries classified by the World Bank.
- Postgraduate students and early-career researchers conducting self-funded research without institutional grant backing.
- Authors demonstrating documented financial hardship verified by an institutional endorsement.
Application Procedure: Waiver applications must be requested upon initial manuscript submission (via the "Comments for the Editor" box) or emailed to the Editor-in-Chief prior to the completion of peer review.
4. Editorial Independence & APC Blindness
Editorial decision-making is strictly firewalled from payment transactions. Peer reviewers and editors evaluate manuscripts solely on originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to Islamic accounting, auditing, and financial governance studies. Editors do not have access to author payment records until after final editorial decisions are rendered.
